Dr Daniel Dagge

Qualifications: MBBS, FRANZCP

A graduate of the University of Queensland, Dr Dagge's primary background is in consultation liaison and forensic psychiatry. Having spent many years in the public health system in Queensland, he has developed a broad clinical background with particular experience in affective, psychotic and anxiety disorders.
Supplementing private consulting work with a role at the Keith Payne Unit at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Dr Dagge is also involved in managing Combat PTSD for returned veterans. Dr Dagge has an interest in emerging neurotherapeutics (Esketamine, rTMS), Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET), and tele-psychiatry.

Dr Vikram Goel

Qualifications: MBBS FRANZCP

Dr Vikram Goel is a Queensland trained Psychiatrist and a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He has both General and Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia. After graduating from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in Punjab, India, Dr Goel completed the Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations and then undertook specialist Psychiatric training in Queensland.
He has worked within Queensland's Public Mental Health Service for the last 14 years, initially as a House Officer and a trainee, and subsequently as a full-time Staff Specialist Psychiatrist leading a multidisciplinary team at The Park – Centre for Mental Health Treatment and Research. Now in a part-time role with Qld Health, he works as a Staff Specialist within the Queensland Forensic Mental Health system and as a Visiting Medical Officer (Psychiatrist) at the Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Dr Goel has interests in treating Depressive Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, and Panic Disorder . He has special interest in the treatment of Psychiatric Morbidity in Chronic Pain and other Illnesses, Occupational Psychiatry, Military Psychiatry including managing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and rTMS. Dr Goel accepts WorkCover, DVA and other third party cases for treatment and medico-legal purposes. Dr Goel is also GEPI trained and PIRS trained.

Dr Geraldine Goodison

Qualifications: BScAppHMS(Hons) MBBS FRANZCP

Dr Geraldine Goodison is a part-time private Psychiatrist specialising in outpatient psychiatric care for adult patients. She works collaboratively and compassionately with motivated patients, helping them towards recovery from a range of psychiatric disorders.
Dr Goodison is a University of Queensland Exercise Physiology and Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) graduate. She commenced her psychiatry training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital after her intern year, and completed her Advanced Training in private psychiatry at the Toowong Specialist Clinic. Since achieving her Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Dr Goodison has continued to work as an outpatient private Psychiatrist.
Dr Goodison's areas of interest include first presentation of mental illness, mood and anxiety disorders, and ADHD.

Dr Peter Wheatley

Qualifications: BSc MBBS FRANZCP

Dr Wheatley is a medical graduate from the University of New South Wales. He trained at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney before being commissioned in the Royal Australian Army Medical Corp. Dr Wheatley served for ten years in the Australian Regular Army as a Medical Officer achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was deployed as the Officer Commander Medical Company in Rwanda in 1995 and as the Senior Medial Officer to Bougenvilla in 1998. Dr Wheatley commenced formal psychiatry training in 2005 and was awarded his fellowship in 2010. His interests include Military Psychiatry, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Mood Disorders. Dr Wheatley is a VMO at New Farm Clinic. Patient Admission - New Farm Clinic.

Dr Sean Tracey

Qualifications: MBBS, FRANZCP

Dr Sean Tracey graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997. He has been practicing Psychiatry since 1999, initially as a Registrar, and as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2008. He has extensive experience working in the public health system in Queensland, with experience across all areas of general adult psychiatry including Old Age and Forensic Psychiatry as well as Acute/Emergency Psychiatry. He has a particular interest in affective and anxiety disorders.
Dr Tracey has limited private practice hours at The Yeronga Clinic and does not provide private psychiatric ‘in patient’ care. Dr Tracey also does not provide a private emergency ‘on call’ service.

Dr Diana Whitehead

Qualifications: MBBS FRANZCP

Dr Whitehead is an experienced adult psychiatrist. Dr Whitehead has 25 years of experience as a general adult psychiatrist and has worked in three different states in Australia. From 2004 to 2017 she worked at New Farm Clinic in Brisbane seeing inpatients and outpatients and is now concentrating more on outpatient work.
She is lesbian and gay friendly, interested in areas of anxiety disorders, including OCD and PTSD, depression, eating disorders, bipolar affective disorder, psychosis and psychotherapy. Dr Whitehead is experienced with CBT, DBT and EMDR therapies.
Dr Whitehead has limited private practice hours at The Yeronga Clinic and does not provide private psychiatric ‘in patient’ care. Dr Whitehead also does not provide a private emergency ‘on call’ service.

Dr Shama Kanodia

MBBS MD FRANZCP Cert. Adult Psych.

Dr Shama Kanodia is a general psychiatrist with over 19 years of post-graduate experience, with special interest in perinatal psychiatry. She has general and specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Dr. Kanodia has trained extensively in mental health in both public and private sector in Queensland. She is currently employed as staff specialist in Metro South Addiction and Mental health services.
Dr. Kanodia holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry (FRANZCP) and has completed Advanced Training Certificate in Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Kanodia has interest in medical education and holds a conjoint appointment with University of Queensland. She is also a member of Faculty for Adult Psychiatry in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry.
Dr Kanodia has interests in treating perinatal mental disorders, depression, psychosis, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She is trained in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS). Dr. Kanodia is a member of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry Special Interest Group (PIPSIG) and Marce Society Australasian Chapter.
Dr. Kanodia does not provide private psychiatric ‘in patient’ care or private emergency ‘on call’ service.

Dr Charissa Wong

Qualifications: DPsych (Clin), BBehSc (Psych Hons), MAPS (Fellow CCP), MACPA

Dr Charissa Wong is a Clinical Psychologist who works from a collaborative, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to support clients in making meaningful change with the aim of improving their quality of life. Charissa is a registered provider for Medicare and Private Health rebates. She also provides psychological services to referrals from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), BUPA Health Services Provider Network (Australian Defence Force), and WorkCover.
Charissa was awarded the Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree at the Queensland University of Technology and has practiced across various clinical settings including hospitals, forensic facilities, and community. Charissa has experience working with adults, children and youth, and their families in managing a range of emotional and psychological concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, behavioural challenges, and personality disorders. Charissa can also support clients through general life stress, grief and loss, anger issues, addiction, relationship difficulties, and gender issues.
Charissa is dedicated to creating a safe and trusting therapeutic environment, and believes in working collaboratively with each client to develop an individualised treatment plan to cater to the client’s needs. Charissa offers a range of psychological assessment services, and works from an integrative therapeutic approach including interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Psychodynamic and other insight-oriented therapies, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Charissa understands that it can be daunting to seek therapy for the first time or to re-commence therapy with a new Psychologist. She will take time to explore clients’ concerns and wishes, and assist them in moving forward with greater confidence and contentment in life.

Dr Joe Wagner

Qualifications: BBiomedSc (Hons), DClinPsych(Clin/Neuro), MAPS

Dr Joe Wagner is a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist who completed his training at The University of Queensland. Over the last 13 years, Dr Wagner has worked with people from all stages of the lifespan in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, private practice, rehabilitation units, and forensic environments. Dr Wagner has a keen interest in conducting research and has co-authored a number of journal articles in the areas of neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, and molecular genetics. He is also a Board Approved Supervisor for provisional psychologists completing the 4+2, 5+1, and Higher Degree (i.e. Masters/Doctor of Psychology degree) pathways.
Dr Wagner has interests in helping people with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance addiction, and psychosis. He practises primarily from a CBT perspective; however, Dr Wagner also draws upon the areas of Mindfulness and DBT skills to help his patients improve the quality of their life by gaining a better understanding of themselves, reducing their emotional distress, and improving their relationships with others.
From a Neuropsychology perspective, Dr Wagner has interests in the assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive difficulties that occur in a range of diseases and disorders, including ADHD, brain injury, and dementia. He is experienced in the assessment of memory, intelligence, executive and academic functioning, and in examining the cognitive dysfunction that occurs in psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and schizophrenia. Dr Wagner is also passionate about conducting clinical and neuropsychological assessments and interventions via telehealth, and has co-authored an article based on his work providing memory rehabilitation to patients with an acquired brain injury over Skype.
